Jackson Tropp
Jackson Tropp is a dynamic SAG-AFTRA actor, filmmaker, and educator based in Los Angeles, celebrated for his versatility across comedy, drama, and everything in between. With a B.A. in Theatre Arts & Electronic Media and an M.A. in Communication Studies, Jackson honed his craft under the guidance of top industry coaches in Los Angeles including Lesly Kahn and Killian McHugh while developing his comedy and improvisation training with Lesley Wolff, the Upright Citizens Brigade, and the Second City Hollywood Conservatory Program. Notable on-screen appearances include starring in the acclaimed short films Last Night and Sexy Grandma, a standout supporting role in the feature film, The Barista, and his award-winning directorial debut What to Expect When You're NOT Expecting-a sharp, heartfelt comedy that made waves on the festival circuit.
Beyond the screen, Jackson is also a passionate college professor, empowering emerging artists to find their voices through performance and storytelling. He teaches public speaking and performance of literature, sharing the tools and techniques that shaped his own creative journey. Often described as "Dan Levy meets Alan Cumming in The Good Place," Jackson brings authenticity, wit, and heart to every role-and to every student he mentors.
